Proceeds will support two top priority projects this year - the much anticipated Labor and Delivery Unit and the Good Shepherd Hospice at Mercy Medical Center. Mercy’s Women’s Pavilion will provide new and expectant mothers and their babies with access to top quality comprehensive medical care and a complete spectrum of services in a beautifully renovated facility. Mother and Baby will be together throughout their special stay and monitored by our top notch medical professionals in modern private suites. MMC is home to the only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) on the south shore of Nassau County. With this forthcoming unit, MMC promises to be the premier place for delivery on Long Island.

Good Shepherd Hospice will be a dedicated 12 bed unit providing care to hospice patients whose symptoms cannot be managed in the home environment due to the need for complex treatments and frequent medication dose changes. Construction started in February 2018, with completion scheduled for later this year.
