Sister Mary Nadine Casey, CIJ Award – Helen Helkowski is extremely honored and proud to receive the Sister Nadine Casey, CIJ Award. Helen has worked at Mercy Hospital for the last 12 years in the Medical Staff Office as the Executive Assistant to the Chief Medical Officer. Helen demonstrates her commitment to Mercy Hospital and the Medical Staff Department through her daily interactions and collaboration with the physicians and advanced practice providers. She coordinates the daily functions of the medical staff office, assisting the providers with their day to day needs while serving as a liaison between the physicians and hospital administration.

Helen received her Bachelors of Science in Business from Adelphi University. She is the mother of two beautiful children, John and Christina. She currently lives in New Hyde Park and has been married for 15 years to her wonderful husband Charlie.
